I've got four of these on 2000 watts in a custom ported box at 35hz, and they sound great. Everyone is always impressed that all that sound comes from 8's, and always complementing the sound quality as well. These can hit the real low notes that you get in some rap and bass drums on rock, all the way up to bass guitar lines. I've been running them for around 6-10 months now, and not once have I had any problems with them, they take a beating and just keep on pounding. I have recommended them to anyone who has asked, and will continue to do this. The Sundown team is great to work with, and they are always willing to answer questions and give advice. Excellent product, excellent company.

If you want some quality subs that shake panties off of girls walking by the side of the road, you absolutely cannot go wrong with SA. Don't be fooled by a "little 8 inch" sub. The 400 watts RMS these babies take are no joke. They will outhit many 12 inch subs, and are super tight when it comes to some drum bass.

I have had an extensive list of subwoofer and amp combos but I have never encountered a single sub that is as misleading as this one. This little, yet gigantic, subwoofer continues to completely fool everyone who hears it. My current set up is one SA-8 + Hifonics HiFi Class D amp + Groundshaker SPQ Pro Enclosure + Planet Audio Capacitor. The levels of bass achieved by this subwoofer will have you questioning why people fork out three times the price for equal or less than equal quality from the competition. The closest competitor I have come across is the JL Audio 8W7, but with all things considered you simply cannot beat the quality and price of this product...... GREAT JOB SUNDOWN !!!
