Sundown SA-12 D2 Sub, August 8, 2011 By This review is from: SA-12 D2 - Sundown Audio 12" 600W Dual 2-Ohm SA Series Subwoofer (Electronics) This is an excellent choice of sub woofer it is under rated i would say about 1000Watts RMS very good i have no regret with this sub recommend it to any one.

Had a 12" alpine type r before runnin about 750 rms to it and it would burn up all the time and wasnt very clear. Got one of these and have it runnin on 1100 rms and it takes the power all day with no probelms. It out performs the alpine in every way. Sub is way underrated at 600 rms. If you want a single 12 that pounds than this is defently the sub you want. The lows notes arnt too bad for a 12 and the mid bass punch is amazing. Make sure you put it in a big ported box for the full effect.

I have it on a planet audio 1201D, good combo. I get many compliments on it, and nobody believes I have only one! GREAT QUALITY, VERY RELIABLE! Would highly recommend this sub to anyone!
