I made my box with MDF tuned to the sub and this box almost jumps on the lows. The lows are the best part about this sub hands down and Im driving a BMW 323i 2000 and my seats don't even pull down. Crazy sound and people think I have 2 12's running. Get it.
Awesome sub, April 9, 2012 This review is from: SA-12 D4 - Sundown Audio 12" 600W Dual 4-Ohm SA Series Subwoofer (Electronics) I installed this sub in an atrend 2.4total cu ft. box tuned to 38hz,1.85 net without the port.......and man does this baby have some output! I am very impressed by how loud and clean this one sub sounds. Even an experienced installer who sells and installs jl audio systems daily was very impressed with this sub to say the least! Very high quality sub. i have new respect for sundown audio! This is the loudest and cleanest sub money can buy for under 200 bucks! I only have 630rms true mtx cea2006 compliant power going to it and many people say they will handle 1000rms no problem! i myself has had a 12w6, and i have to say this sub is right there with it, if not better cuz it can take more power RELIABLY AND $100 Cheaper! BUY THIS SUB! I have listened to anything from classic rock songs, Staind,Breaking Benjamin, hollywood undead, flo-rida,jay-z.....you get the idea......point your sub to the back of your trunk or anywhere in the rear of your SUV and u should b very happy!!!
